We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a sterile field in the operating room, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, providing support and maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Inventory, restock, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance and infection control initiatives, adhering to all regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Previous experience in a surgical setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
