Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Community Medical Centers of Fresno, CA. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the success of our surgical team.



Responsibilities:

As a Surgical Technologist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and turning over operating rooms to ensure a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assisting surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and handling surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Providing exceptional patient care, including pre-operative and post-operative care, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the surgical process.
  • Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.


Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED), or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate.
  • Graduation from a recognized Surgical Technology Program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • One of the following certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C).
