Job Responsibilities:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Ambercare, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to clients in their homes, under the guidance of an RN Supervisor. Your duties will include:
- Performing selected nursing procedures, such as tracheostomy care, colostomy care, and g-tube care
- Providing client and family teaching according to the plan outlined by the RN
- Monitoring client's vital signs and making specific measurements and observations
- Administering medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
- Licensed as a vocational/practical nurse in the state of practice
- Home Care or Home Health experience preferred
- CPR Certification
