Position Overview: Monroe Staffing is seeking skilled assemblers for both 1st and 3rd shifts (8 hours) with ASCO Power Technologies in Welcome, NC. These roles offer permanent employment with opportunities for career advancement in a climate-controlled warehouse environment. As an assembler, you will utilize blueprints and hand tools to construct metal components for electrical products, with no prior electrical experience necessary. Following the initial probationary period, employees will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, dental coverage, and more.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with hand tools and air-powered tools
  • Comfort with reading blueprints or diagrams
  • The capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally throughout the shift, including overhead lifting
This position requires documentation of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Starting pay is $15/hour.
