Job Summary

We are looking for a key holder who will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have a contagious enthusiasm for pets and people, be willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Greet customers and pets in a friendly and welcoming manner
    • Provide thoughtful and helpful advice on pet food and supplies
    • Assist customers with purchases and carry out their bags
  • Store Operations
    • Open and close the store, as scheduled
    • Manage store inventory and restock shelves
    • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Team Management
    • Provide clear and helpful direction to other team members
    • Assist with training and development of new team members

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 1-2 years of retail experience preferred
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
    • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
