Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Monitor and report patient status to the healthcare team, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Perform various procedures, such as inserting IV lines, administering blood transfusions, and performing cardiac monitoring.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
