We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Partners in Special Education. As a key member of our school health services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to students.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of teaching plans and self-care for patients under the direct supervision of the school nurse.
- Participate in planning with the school nurse to meet student needs and execute interventions as per treatment and healthcare plans.
- Monitor ill/injured students, take basic vital signs, and maintain student health records.
- Assist with crisis response and administer medications/injections while providing basic nursing care, under supervision.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
- Current active license as a vocational nurse in California and valid CPR and First Aid certification from an approved source.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, exercising reasonable judgment, in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to travel as needed.
