The successful candidate will work with families facing challenges that impact their ability to parent their children, providing support and guidance to help them overcome these obstacles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with families in their homes, building trusting relationships and providing emotional support.
  • Assist families in accessing concrete services, such as fair hearings and public assistance, and connect them with community resources.
  • Accompany families to appointments, providing support and guidance in navigating complex systems.
  • Help parents improve their skills to create a safe and nurturing environment for their children.
  • Document all interactions and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and compassionate, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of the child welfare and family court systems.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work with diverse families and maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $23.08/hr to $26.65/hr.
  • Four weeks' vacation, medical/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, pension plan, and 401(k) with employer contribution.
