Job Description for HVAC Account ManagerOverview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Account Manager to join our team at MSS Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to grow our commercial and industrial HVAC business.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop sales strategies for assigned Commercial and Industrial markets.
  2. Identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
  3. Develop multiple relationships with new and existing customers to facilitate sales success and effective account management.
  4. Utilize sales and account management processes to perform sales interviews with prospective clients and determine client needs.
  5. Survey and appraise mechanical systems, including HVAC and Building Automation Systems.
  6. Prepare solutions estimates, proposals, and presentations.
  7. Aggressively manage proposals to close sales.
  8. Maintain an active backlog of proposals to ensure annual booking goals are consistently met.
  9. Achieve annual sales targets necessary to grow the business within assigned markets.
  10. Provide management with required sales reporting.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of Commercial/Industrial HVAC Sales experience.
  • Strong knowledge of applied HVAC equipment systems, Building Automation Systems, and associated support services.
  • Strong communication and business decision-making skills with a solid financial acumen.
  • Solid problem-solving and proven negotiating skills.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • Two-year degree required, four-year degree a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
