- Provide person-centered care, supporting residents' independence and autonomy while promoting their overall well-being.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to establish and implement resident care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Participate in team problem-solving methods and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to dementia sensitivity and person-centered care practices.
- Successful completion of a nurse aide training and competency evaluation program approved by the State of Minnesota.
- Regulatory requirements for certified nursing assistants in the State of MN.
- 2 or more years of experience as a certified nursing assistant in a skilled nursing facility (preferred).
- Training and experience in geriatric nursing (preferred).
- Active on the MN State Nurse Aide registry.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and a commitment to providing person-centered care.
- Good communication skills and infection control practices.
