Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to residents in a calm and respectful manner.
  • Respond to patient calls and assess their needs to provide timely assistance.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, personal hygiene, and mobility, including bathing, dressing, and transferring.
  • Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers and promote comfort.
  • Ensure residents receive a balanced diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
  • Obtain information from healthcare professionals about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
  • Monitor and record food and liquid intake, urinary and fecal output, and vital signs as requested by staff.
  • Conduct regular examinations to detect potential health issues, such as open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
Requirements:
  • Certified as a nursing assistant and in good standing with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
  • Availability to work every other weekend and alternating holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively care for residents.
