We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the surgical team, assisting in the preparation and care of surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of the operating room, including setting up equipment and supplies.
- Function as a scrub assistant, passing instruments and sponges to the surgical team.
- Assist in the care and maintenance of instrumentation and equipment.
- Perform a variety of related duties, such as transporting patients and maintaining records.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- AAS Degree in Operating Room Technology preferred.
- Certification by Association of Operating Room Technicians required.
