Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at PrairieCare. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities- Assess and monitor child and adolescent patients' daily functioning and assist in mental health symptom management
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide education and support to patients and families on mental health topics and treatment options
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Nursing Degree (BSN preferred)
- Current licensure as an RN with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing
- At least 1 year of psychiatric/mental health nursing experience within the past two years (preferably in a child and adolescent psychiatric setting)
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
