Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with Cancer Care Leadership at the clinical site
  • Guarantee the secure administration of radiation therapy and compliance with safety standards
  • Educate staff to reduce radiation exposure
  • Engage in performance enhancement initiatives and regulatory adherence
  • Execute treatment planning and dosimetry assessments
  • Contribute to clinical education and training initiatives

Requirements

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or a related discipline
  • ABR Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics is preferred
  • Experience with HDR and SRS programs is advantageous
  • Skills in computer system administration are beneficial
  • Eligibility for board certification is required
  • State licensure as a medical physicist is essential
