At American Structurepoint, we are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Design Engineer - Senior to join our Bridge Group in Austin, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing large bridge projects in Texas markets, working on exciting projects as the lead structural engineer, and mentoring less experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of new bridges using pre-stressed concrete, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and timber components
  • Development of project cost estimates
  • Plan development
  • QC/QA

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4-8 years of experience
  • Professional Engineer License in Texas
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and work under tight deadlines
  • Experience with Microstation is preferred
