Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Flintco. As a Project Engineer, you will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in performing administrative and technical work assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in writing and reviewing subcontracts and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review project documents and become familiar with project participants to enable productive day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in determining submittal requirements and preparing and maintaining submittal logs.
  • Expedite materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery and meet project schedules.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and make regular site visits to observe and inspect project progress.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or authorized person.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0-2 years' progressive experience in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of methods and technology, sufficient to determine proper construction sequencing, procurement planning, and review and correct submittals.
  • Ability to maintain, inform, and communicate with the construction team.
  • Ability to make well-informed decisions on behalf of the company and know when to seek assistance from higher authority.
  • Working knowledge of computers and standard company software.
  • Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures.
