About the Role

Cat Scan Technologists are essential members of our imaging team at HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge, using computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for accurately interpreting physician scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating the CT scan equipment, and positioning patients to capture the best possible images.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Administer contrast materials as needed to enhance image quality
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them correctly and adjusting immobilization devices
  • Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues to ensure smooth procedures

Requirements

  • Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT
  • 1 year of diagnostic experience, with CT experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CT procedures and protocols
