Articulation and Language Expert

We are seeking an experienced Articulation and Language Expert to join our team at The Newgrange School. As a specialist in speech therapy, you will play a vital role in supporting students with communication needs and helping them develop essential articulation and language skills.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing student speech/language abilities, applying appropriate therapies, and consulting with staff and parents regarding student speech and language skills. You will also design instructional plans, consider student interpersonal and learning styles, and provide positive and frequent feedback.
We offer a salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Our school values innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Review student speech/language abilities and apply appropriate therapies
- Design instructional plans, considering student interpersonal and learning styles
- Consult with staff and parents regarding student speech and language skills
- Provide student-appropriate therapy and intervention, including IEP reviews
- A Master's Degree in speech pathology, a valid New Jersey Speech-Language Certificate, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate activities
- Experience in developing specialized approaches to learning and working with staff to facilitate the transfer and carryover of skills across the curriculum
