Job Title: Infusion Nurse

NurseCore is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with infusion experience to join our Specialty Staffing division. As an Infusion Nurse, you will provide quality in-home care and infusions to patients with rare, chronic, and acute diseases.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer and self-administer teaching of specialty pharmacy infusion therapies and injectables to patients in the home setting, infusion suites, or physician office.
  • Access, maintain, and manage SPC/PIV/Midlines, CVAD (PICC/Implanted Ports), SCIG, phlebotomy, and lab processing.
  • Coordinate planning for delivery of nursing care with the Director of Nursing and administer appropriate clinical decisions in patient care.
  • Proactively update client/patient POC, health changes, and other related incidents.
  • Ensure safe care to patients and adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards, including time management, supply management, productivity, and quality of service.
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse through the State Board of Nursing required.
  • Home health experience preferred - can perform assessments, wound care, medication management, infusions.
  • Minimum of two years medical surgical or critical care/ER experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one-year recent infusion experience preferred.
  • Proof of current PPD, current CPR - hands-on class required.
  • Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience.
