Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic's H80 General Medicine/Telemetry unit is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population. As a member of our team, you will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers to deliver world-class care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including respiratory, gastrointestinal, dialysis, and diabetes.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Two years of recent nursing experience (or military RN experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements

This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also need to stand and walk for extended periods, have corrected vision and hearing, and work under stressful conditions with irregular hours.

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
