About the Role

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Design Engineer to join our Transportation Engineering Group in Charleston. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing roadway improvements and new construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design roadway improvements and new construction projects, including layout, calculations, and construction plan production.
  • Develop bid quantities and cost estimates for transportation projects.
  • Conduct geometric studies and report writing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in highway design, preferably with WVDOH experience.
  • E.I.T. certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in roadway drafting and design software, such as Bentley Microstation, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Excellent organizational, accountability, and dependability skills.
