Project Landscape Architect Specialist

Stewart is seeking a talented and creative Project Landscape Architect. As a member of our design-based team, you will utilize your skills in landscape architecture to work on diverse projects such as campus design, urban planning, large-scale master-planning, parks, and community spaces. This role offers a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities for growth within the studio.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of landscape architecture design methods and be proficient in digital graphic design software, including AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite. You will assist in visualizing designs, create and edit landscape and site drawings, and develop landscape architecture designs through site analysis and layout. Under the supervision of a Project Manager, you will also plan, schedule, and coordinate project documentation. Your experience with construction observation and administration will enable you to perform site visits, field reports, shop drawing & submittal review, and respond to contractor RFIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visualize projects through hand and digital graphic practices.
- Create and edit landscape and site drawings.
- Develop landscape architecture designs through site analysis, site layout, hardscape, grading, site details, planting designs, and renderings.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate project documentation.
- Perform construction observation and administration tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture required.
- Licensed Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) required.
