Job Overview: We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Merchandise Pricer to be part of our organization. The Merchandise Pricer plays a vital role in assessing, pricing, and tagging products for sale. This position is essential for ensuring that our items are priced appropriately and attractively to cater to our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and price incoming donations based on their condition, brand, market demand, and store policies.
  • Label and arrange merchandise on the sales floor in a systematic and visually appealing way.
  • Stay informed about pricing trends and competitive pricing within the retail sector.
  • Assist in sorting, organizing, and categorizing donated goods.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized pricing area and workspace.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
  • Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in retail, pricing, or a similar field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to make equitable pricing decisions.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift and move items of various sizes and weights.
