Job Summary

The Banquet Set-up Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and organized banquet area.

Responsibilities
  • Provides guests with a warm and enthusiastic welcome, ensuring a positive experience from the start.
  • Maintains the banquet area in a clean, organized, and safe condition, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Ensures all equipment is stored in designated areas and that all banquet rooms are cleared and securely locked at the end of each function and shift.
  • Assists in food production, prepares food according to recipe, and presents menus to guests.
  • Monitors tables in assigned sections, ensuring all patrons are served, and clears and cleans tables, resetting counters and tables as needed.
  • Maintains kitchen and wait station areas, keeping them tidy and clean, and stocks assigned areas at the end of each shift.
  • Reports tips properly for tax processing and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Three to six months related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, treating others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and follow policies and procedures, as well as safety and security procedures.
