We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Liv Communities LLC. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of our apartment community's office, model amenities, common areas, and apartments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General cleaning of common building hallways, including wiping down entry doors, vacuuming carpet, and removing cobwebs.
  • Emptying trash and/or emptying trash receptacles, and wiping off or attempting to remove markings on wall boards.
  • Reporting burned-out light bulbs or personal property left behind.
  • Monthly cleaning of light fixtures, signs, window treatments/glass/sills, baseboards, vents, stair banisters, and removal of outdated bulletin board messages.
  • General cleaning of the clubhouse, leasing, and management office, including emptying trash receptacles, cleaning desk and countertop areas, dusting furnishings and decorative items, and vacuuming/mopping flooring.
  • Weekly cleaning of the model, including dusting furnishings and decorative items, mopping vinyl flooring, disinfecting kitchen and bathroom countertops and sinks, and vacuuming carpeting.
  • Daily cleaning of the clubhouse/common restrooms, including sanitizing all bathroom fixtures and flooring, restocking paper and soap supplies, replacing burned-out light bulbs, emptying trash receptacles, and polishing mirrors.
  • Weekly cleaning of the fitness/exercise room, including dusting or wiping down equipment, emptying trash receptacles, vacuuming or mopping flooring, and polishing mirrors.
  • General cleaning of the meeting room when applicable, including weekly cleaning of the mail room, mopping floor, emptying trash receptacle, and wiping down countertops.
  • Daily cleaning of the pool/whirlpool restrooms & locker rooms, including sanitizing all bathroom fixtures and flooring, restocking paper and soap supplies, replacing burned-out light bulbs, emptying trash receptacle, and monthly cleaning of doors, partitions, light fixtures, trash receptacles, window treatments/glass/sills, and decorative items.
  • Pool deck seasonal as directed, including arranging furnishings to appropriate place if altered from approved décor, washing and rinsing furniture using an approved detergent and soft brush, emptying trash receptacles and ash trays, collecting personal belongings left by guests and placing in community's lost and found container, and picking up and discarding debris.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk around the property several times daily, up to 10 miles a day.
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to climb several flights of stairs several times daily.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency required.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The Housekeeper will be required to maintain a regular schedule, which may include working overtime, weekends, and some holidays, as well as some after-hours resident events.
