- Emergency Repairs: Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance technician, particularly in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical Demands: Physical stamina and dexterity for handling heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if necessary.
- Education: Associate degree in industrial maintenance, engineering technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certification in relevant areas such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- PLC Programming: Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and troubleshooting.
- Safety Regulations: Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise junior maintenance staff.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
