Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of basic maintenance functions, including repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
  • Assist in making decisions on all minor and routine repairs.
  • Maintain equipment; perform minor equipment repairs using power and hand tools.
  • Perform a variety of other unskilled or semi-skilled tasks such as minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, minor electrical work, lamp changing, and drywall maintenance.
  • Maintain logs, perform rounds, and complete maintenance work orders, tests, and inspections.
  • Read, comprehend, and transmit complicated detailed instructions verbally and in writing.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of general building maintenance experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks using a work order system.
  • Experience with minor drywall and flooring.
  • Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Generator monitoring - remote notification system.
  • Text alerts and responding to generators running.
  • Driver's license and clean driving record.
