We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at EADS COOLING SOLUTIONS LLC. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for performing a variety of material handling functions, including operating a forklift, scissor lift, Jib crane, bridge crane, and other material handling devices.
Key Responsibilities- Operate various sizes and types of forklifts, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials.
- Operate a bridge crane and jib crane, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers and other delivery personnel, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment, documenting any issues or concerns.
- Rig loads for lifting, inspecting rigging to ensure safety and compliance.
- Determine the most effective process for moving raw materials or finished products in any given situation.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed by supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months to 1 year experience as a material handler in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift, crane, and other lifting devices certifications.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial orientation.
- Ability to work in a team environment, prioritizing safety and quality work.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
