Candidates must be available to work a 3-day, 12-hour shift schedule (3 days on, 3 off, 3 nights on, 3 off, repeat) and be open to overtime as needed. With rotating shifts, employees can enjoy time off during the week to balance work and personal life.

Located in West Central Indiana, Taghleef Industries has established itself as a leading name in specialty films for over 55 years, previously known as AET Films and Hercules.

The Manufacturing Associate position is an entry-level role with significant immediate growth potential. This role focuses on the packaging of finished film products for the food sector, within a clean and safe work environment.

This position offers comprehensive full-time benefits while averaging 15 working days per month. Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport film rolls onto pallets using an overhead hoist. Secure rolls to the pallet with strapping bands, ensuring the correct pattern is used. Tighten strapping with a banding tool. These tasks require continuous bending, crouching, and working at floor level.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly without assistance.
  • Perform basic math calculations, read scales to weigh rolls, and utilize a standard tape measure to meet quality standards.
  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack (training provided).
  • Execute all tasks according to safety protocols, adhere to PPE requirements, and report all incidents or injuries immediately.
  • Use computers to manage company emails and perform daily data entry tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, demonstrating teamwork to achieve production goals. Contribute positively to the work environment by upholding Taghleef's core values of integrity, respect, and trust.
  • Perform assigned Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) activities, such as cleaning and waste removal.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene practices, including regular bathing and wearing clean work attire.
  • Report any known or suspected contamination or food safety risks to the direct supervisor immediately.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality (no absences during the initial probationary period)
  • Successfully complete the required New Hire Training Academy
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or fast-paced production line
  • Ability to work a 3-day rotating 12-hour shift schedule and overtime as needed
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to succeed and grow within the company
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
