Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Geisinger Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to children and their families in an outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Primary Care: You will provide primary clinical support to providers, patients, and their families to assist in diagnosis and treatment of patient conditions.
  • Document Patient Information: Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing of same in medical records.
  • Maintain Clean Environment: Promote a clean environment by ensuring required levels of asepsis and availability of appropriate instruments and equipment.
  • Clinical Duties: Assist providers in performance of minor surgical diagnostic procedures, collect laboratory specimens, administer medications and vaccines under provider direction, and prepare patients for examinations.

Requirements:
  • Nursing Degree: Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year-Nursing (Preferred)
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification, Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Skills: Communication, Computer Literacy, Customer Service, Multitasking, Teamwork

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Estimated Salary: $65,000-$90,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications
