The Munchies Department at Frito-Lay is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Processing Operator. This role is responsible for operating processing equipment, performing troubleshooting tasks, and ensuring high product quality and compliance with food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Munchies processing equipment and perform simple troubleshooting tasks
- Track inventory and reconcile for discrepancies using the appropriate computer tools, software, and Inventory Control System (ICS)
- Perform Quality Control checks to ensure high product quality and compliance with food safety requirements
- Conduct Production Line Audits to ensure compliance with FDA Food Safety Requirements
- Participate in team meetings and perform individual duties with a high degree of dedication to safety and environmental stewardship
- Perform sanitation and housekeeping duties to ensure safety, health, & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Operate a forklift to unload and load totes and cartons and distribute to pre-designated areas
- Operate tote stations and set-up and break down corrugated Totes
- Collecting waste cardboard, baling, and safely operating the baler
- Follow all necessary reporting/paperwork procedures precisely
- Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills
- Be able to work all applicable shifts on a regular basis (including weekends & holidays) and work overtime as needed
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to successfully complete the forklift training course as supplied by Frito-Lay
- Be able to climb ladders/stairs and work at heights
- Ability to execute all other duties as assigned
- Able to work in extreme environmental conditions
