Phlebotomy Specialist

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, preparing them for laboratory testing, and ensuring accurate and reliable test results.

• Collect blood samples from patients using proper collection techniques and equipment
• Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, including labeling and processing
• Ensure accurate and reliable test results by following laboratory protocols and procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy training program required
• Minimum of one year experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required
