About the Position

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of six months demonstrated nursing experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a direct patient care position in a Psychiatric inpatient or outpatient setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

The clinical nurse will be responsible for developing and implementing a plan of care for assigned patients, evaluating patient outcomes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to revise the plan of care or make referrals as necessary. Additional responsibilities include acting as a role model and mentor to students and nurses new to the unit, functioning as a Patient Care Coordinator as requested by the supervisor/manager, and maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, including the ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You should also demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. The estimated annual salary for this position is around $85,000, depending on experience.
