Sutter Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist Level II to join our team in Elk Grove, California.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MRI scans, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI scans on patients, following established protocols and procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, adhering to Sutter Health's patient care standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
- HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
- 1 year of recent relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, as well as patient billing
- Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Possess written and verbal communications skills to communicate with fellow team members, supervisors, patients, and other hospital personnel
