We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the California Medical Facility. As a Senior Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex radiologic procedures and providing technical guidance to junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiologic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members, including Radiologic Technologists and clerical staff.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure accurate and efficient radiologic imaging.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of radiologic procedures and results.
- Current, valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health.
- One year of experience performing the duties of a Radiologic Technologist, Correctional Facility, in the California state service, or three years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide technical guidance to junior staff members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with medical staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
- Experience working in a correctional facility or similar environment.
- Knowledge of radiologic imaging principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
