Licensed Vocational Nurse

At Skyline Healthcare Center (2), we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team as a Charge Nurse. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents while ensuring the smooth operation of our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing personnel to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs and provide guidance to nursing staff.
- Manage medication administration, including ordering and stocking medications, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on new policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
- Current LVN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LVN in a skilled nursing facility.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and procedures, with a focus on resident-centered care.
