Ballad Health CVA Heart Institute is a renowned organization that delivers comprehensive cardiovascular care to a 29-county service area in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Our forward-thinking team consists of 55+ leading-edge physicians and 45+ APPs who specialize in all aspects of general and interventional cardiology, including structural heart and peripheral vascular disease, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.
We are seeking a proficient non-invasive cardiologist to join our esteemed team in Kingsport, Tennessee. Located within the vibrant atmosphere of Holston Valley Medical Center, our cohesive team comprises 16 cardiologists, three cardiothoracic surgeons, and three vascular surgeons. Emphasizing excellence in patient care, collaboration, and a supportive work environment, we offer an inviting workplace for you and your family.
Our team benefits from a full complement of nocturnal advanced practice providers, ensuring a manageable workload. For those inclined towards research, our facility boasts a robust infrastructure, actively participating in numerous national and international clinical trials. The ideal candidate will be practicing at our Kingsport clinic and contribute to imaging capabilities at Holston Valley Medical Center, furnished with cutting-edge technology.
Our Kingsport team is actively engaged in advanced structural heart, cardia surgical, and electrophysiology procedures. Full spectrum of innovative non-invasive imaging techniques such as cardiac/vascular CT, MRI, and advanced echocardiography.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including annual salary and bonus, commencement bonus, relocation and educational loan assistance, full benefits, and PTO and CME reimbursement.
Practice Details:
- Holston Valley Medical Center performs approximately 500 cath lab and EP procedures per month, with 50-75 stent placements, 40 implantable pacemaker/AICD, and 40 ablations, 12-16 TAVRs, and 75 peripheral cases per month.
- We have Philips Cath Lab with Advanced Cardiac supportive and diagnostic devices such as: Laser, Volcano, IVUS, Rota Pro, Shockwave, CSI, Inari, EKOS, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, and Impella.
- We offer 24/7 STEMI service with approximately 190 STEMIs/year.
- We have an on-site CHF clinic.
- We have experienced Advanced Practitioners to Supplement Practice.
- We have continued Cardiac Market Growth.
- We have upcoming advanced CT with state-of-the-art cardiac imaging capabilities.
