Comprehensive Cardiovascular Care Opportunity
Ballad Health CVA Heart Institute is a leading organization in the delivery of excellent cardiovascular care for a 29-county service area in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Our forward-thinking organization consists of over 55 leading-edge physicians and 45+ advanced practice providers who specialize in all aspects of general and interventional cardiology, including structural heart and peripheral vascular disease, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.

Located within the vibrant atmosphere of Holston Valley Medical Center, our cohesive team comprises 16 cardiologists, three cardiothoracic surgeons, and three vascular surgeons. We emphasize excellence in patient care, collaboration, and a supportive work environment, offering an inviting workplace for you and your family.

Practice Details
- Holston Valley Medical Center performs approximately 500 cath lab and EP procedures per month, with 50-75 stent placements, 40 implantable pacemaker/AICD, and 40 ablations, 12-16 TAVRs, and 75 peripheral cases per month.
- We have a state-of-the-art Philips Cath Lab with advanced cardiac supportive and diagnostic devices, including laser, Volcano, IVUS, Rota Pro, Shockwave, CSI, Inari, EKOS, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, and Impella.
- We offer 24/7 STEMI service with approximately 190 STEMIs per year.
- We have an on-site CHF clinic and experienced advanced practitioners to supplement practice.
- We are committed to continuing cardiac market growth and have upcoming advanced CT with state-of-the-art cardiac imaging capabilities.
