Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Morristown, New Jersey.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly qualified Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional radiology procedures, including vascular and neuro-interventional cases. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality care to patients.
Responsibilities:- Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases
- Operate floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
- Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
- Critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralists
- Operate power injection of iodinated contrast media devices during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case loads
- Contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
- Document in electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACs systems
- Manage groin sites post-intervention
- Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
- Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state
- 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure
- BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures
