Job Summary

ManTech is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer II to join our team at Ft Meade/NBP. As a CNO Developer II, you will perform a full spectrum of systems engineering tasks, including requirements analysis, feature, system, and interface design, system integration, system testing, and working with the modeling team in support of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and all associated documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, support, design, document, test, debug, and maintain hardware or software-based CNO capabilities.
  • Apply knowledge of security concepts and networks to troubleshoot or provide solutions.
  • Communicate status with more senior staff and customers.
  • Ensure software standards are met.
  • Take direction from more senior personnel as a Journeyman position.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming.
  • Proficiency in low-level internals in one or more technology areas (e.g., Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices).
  • Proficiency with networking (TCP/IP) and socket-level programming.
  • 2 years of position-specific relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CNO capability development experience.
  • Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience.
  • Understanding of assembly programming concepts.
  • Unit Test experience.
  • Experience using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible).
  • Relevant industry standard certifications such as Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer (PCEP) or C++ Certified Professional Programmer Certification (CPP).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline/DevSecOps development.
Security Clearance Requirement

Must have a current/active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a polygraph.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
