About the Role

Citizens Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join its team in Johnston, RI. As a key member of the data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions for multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust data pipelines to collect, process, and compute metrics from financial sources, adhering to quality and development standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design optimal solutions that meet data demands.
  • Deploy high-performing code and execute data unit tests in target data containers to validate results and ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and work with Operations teams for code deployments to upper environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field, followed by five years of progressive experience in the role or in a related position.
  • Experience with data integration tools, such as Redshift and Airflow.
  • Strong understanding of cloud service deployments and infrastructure automation.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
