Position Overview

As a Dining Reservations Coordinator at Lephante, you will play a pivotal role in managing all restaurant bookings and performing essential administrative tasks within the department. Your responsibilities will encompass the following key activities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate knowledge about the company
  • Provide guests with essential information regarding the company
  • Address all food and beverage inquiries received via phone and email
  • Manage bookings and reservations effectively
  • Advise guests on food and beverage selections while presenting offers
  • Process pre-payments for reservations and special event bookings as necessary
  • Input reservations into the reservation system, ensuring all customer notes and preferences are recorded accurately, and proceed with table allocations when required
  • Confirm and reconfirm reservations as needed
  • Notify management of overbookings when necessary
  • Forward reservations for special events organized by the restaurant
  • Ensure all reservation information is captured clearly and updated in the database
  • Oversee the reservation database, correcting any inaccuracies and ensuring compliance with standards
  • Actively promote the company and its special events by providing detailed information
  • Ensure timely and efficient handling of all customer inquiries with a focus on care
  • Maintain effective communication with guests and management
  • Uphold confidentiality standards
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the department head or management
  • Adhere to the restaurant's environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in hospitality, with up to one year of experience in a similar position. Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential, along with familiarity with computer programs; knowledge of Micros is a plus.

Compensation

$20 per hour
