About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paralegal to join our team at DCD LAW, Inc. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our Attorney in delivering exceptional legal representation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare client case files for Court and DMV Hearings
  • Manage frequent client communications and consultations
  • Research legal issues, discovery requests, and draft memos
  • Keep clients updated on their case progress
  • Efficiently manage the Attorney's schedule, including meetings and court appearances
  • Prepare for preliminary hearings and trial preparation tasks

Requirements:

  • Paralegal Certificate/Degree: Essential
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is a must
  • Multi-tasking Skills: Strong multi-tasking skills are required
  • Experience: Significant experience in Criminal Defense or a related field is preferred
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales skills are necessary for client communication and consultation
  • Social Media Savvy: Ability to navigate and create engaging content on social media is a plus
  • Self-Starter: You must be a self-starter who can take initiative and add value to the team
  • Team Player: You must be a team player who can work collaboratively with the Attorney and other team members
