Position Overview: This role requires a commitment to producing high-quality work that adheres to established standards, emphasizing continuous improvement to fulfill customer expectations on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering quality work in accordance with prescribed standards while focusing on ongoing enhancements to meet customer deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Following detailed work instructions with minimal supervision, adapting techniques and tools as necessary to address unique requirements.
  • Engaging in complex tasks that necessitate advanced knowledge and experience in specified processes.
  • Collaborating effectively with various departments, including Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales, to resolve issues and answer queries.
  • Providing guidance to others in solving intricate problems and demonstrating initiative in decision-making.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols, including proper handling of materials and equipment.
  • Participating in training and orientation for junior employees and contributing to LEAN initiatives and other improvement activities.

Advanced Assembly Functions: You will perform various assembly tasks, which may include:

  • Preparation and assembly of mechanical components, harnesses, cables, and printed circuit boards, often utilizing models and drawings.
  • Soldering and installing components according to contract specifications using a diverse array of tools and equipment.
  • Interpreting blueprints and process flow instructions to ensure accurate assembly and quality control.

Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialized area such as welding or tool making.
