Urology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Position Overview:

A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a proficient Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Urology to become a vital member of their healthcare team. This role presents a unique opportunity for those passionate about urologic health to make a significant impact in patient care. Recent graduates with relevant educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering comprehensive urologic services to patients in partnership with the healthcare team
  • Performing initial patient evaluations, formulating treatment strategies, and overseeing follow-up care
  • Assisting in surgical interventions as necessary, with a preference for candidates possessing surgical skills
  • Providing education to patients and their families regarding treatment options, preventive strategies, and post-operative care

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or a strong interest in urology, gynecology, or surgical specialties
  • A dedication to ongoing education and professional development
  • Prior surgical experience is preferred for Nurse Practitioners (NPs)
  • Physician Assistants (PAs) are preferred, although NPs with relevant surgical experience will also be considered
