Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse II to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, while also serving as a resource person, preceptor, and relief charge nurse. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the nursing process for clients with complex diagnoses, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum nursing.
  • Provide expert care to patients, families, and communities, while promoting a culture of safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Precept and mentor new staff members, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Current California Registered Nurse license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current NRP certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • At least six (6) months of current maternal-child nursing experience.
