Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

MultiCare Health System is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Tacoma, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform occupational therapy treatment procedures, modalities, and occupational training to improve functional ability
  • Collaborate with OTs to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring patient-centered care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide recommendations for assistive devices and equipment to enhance patient independence and function
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, contributing to the development of evidence-based practice
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Washington
  • Minimum one year of experience in adult rehabilitative services preferred
