Accounting Supervisor Opportunity

We are partnering with a high growth, privately held manufacturer of industrial products to find an experienced Accounting Supervisor to support their C-Suite team. This role offers a unique blend of financial management and industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis, and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Support external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and implement process improvements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Cost accounting experience a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Understanding and application of accounting principles/practices
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills
