We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Technologist to lead our laboratory team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various laboratory tests and procedures, developing new or revised procedures, and serving as the person in-charge of the department in the absence of the Lab Director, Medical Laboratory Specialist, or Manager.
The ideal candidate must hold ASCP or AMT MT/MLS certification and have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a biological science. Additionally, the candidate should have at least two (2) years of pertinent experience in a high complexity laboratory in the assigned/specified area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, perform, and oversee laboratory tests and procedures
- Develop and implement new or revised laboratory procedures
- Assist in the development of laboratory policies and procedures
- Serve as the person in-charge of the department in the absence of the Lab Director, Medical Laboratory Specialist, or Manager
Requirements:
- ASCP or AMT MT/MLS certification
- Bachelor's degree in a biological science
- At least two (2) years of pertinent experience in a high complexity laboratory
