Role Summary
The Senior Project Engineer will be instrumental in overseeing engineering resources, including both internal teams and external consulting firms. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of engineering design, project management, and construction management for various operations in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all project phases and site evaluations.
  • Develop comprehensive plans, cost estimates, and timelines for capital projects.
  • Apply engineering design best practices to enhance existing and new equipment.
  • Coordinate the engineering, procurement, and construction processes for assigned projects, focusing on timely and budget-conscious completion.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress and costs to stakeholders.
  • Manage external engineering and construction contractors effectively.
  • Support operational efficiency through engineering and construction services.
  • Facilitate training and knowledge sharing on capital project management and engineering design.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering, or equivalent experience in related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and construction, preferably within the aggregates sector.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, AggFlow, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
  • Experience in aggregates project engineering is preferred.

Work Environment
This role operates within a manufacturing setting, which may involve exposure to moving equipment and varying weather conditions.
